Students who have a disability and a need for specialized instruction may be eligible for Special Education services under the Individual with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Students are referred to Special Education by a referral team.

Special Education services are individualized and based on student needs and eligibility. These services may include direct instruction in both regular and special education settings and related services to help the student benefit from education.
