The Data Processing & Information Systems Department for Pine Tree ISD maintains all student data in a centralized location for the entire school district. Personnel are responsible for updating administrators and campuses of changes relating to student data as mandated by the Texas Education Agency.   Information about student demographics, special programs in which students may be enrolled, attendance and grades are managed in this office.

Data files are condensed into a file four times a year and sent to the Texas Education Agency. The first PEIMS submission in the fall consists of demographics, special programs and previous year leavers.  Submission two contains financial data extracted from the business department and in the summer, PEIMS data is submitted regarding attendance, discipline and course completion.   The fourth submission contains data from the Optional Extended Year program relating to students attending after school classes preparing for the STAAR test.
