What is CEER?
The CEER (Communication, Entrepreneurship, Engineering, Robotics) Academy at Pine Tree ISD is an opportunity for students in grades 1st through 8th grade to learn in an environment that is set up to be fast paced and flexible. Their learning will grow to new heights both vertically and horizontally. This program allows students to focus on their strengths and gives them the opportunity to share these strengths with other students both in their CEER classroom, across different grade levels, and with other campuses. Additionally, CEER affords students the chance to expand their learning outside the four walls of the classroom, collaborate with other students, and continuously grow as a learner and a leader. As they push the boundaries of their learning, they will encourage other students to not only push themselves as learners, but also as leaders. If you are ready to be a part of this exciting adventure of learning, now is the perfect time to come aboard. Nominations are accepted from Monday, March 3 – March 28 and must be submitted via the link on the CEER web-site. Please email ceeracademy@ptisd.org for additional information.
2025-2026 Application Process for CEER Academy
Pine Tree is pleased to announce the 2025-2026 application process for CEER Academy. This project-based learning pathway is in its fifth year of implementation serving students in grades 1-8. Nominations are accepted from Monday, March 3 – March 28 and must be submitted via the link on the CEER web-site. Parents of current CEER students do not need to reapply.
CEER Academy Parents are invited to learn more about CEER and the educational benefits it provides to students during an informational meeting scheduled at each individual campus after the first day of school in August. During campus meetings, parents and guardians will meet CEER teachers, understand how to support and encourage your CEER student, and the expectations for performance and growth.
