Pine Tree Powerlifting wins Mount Pleasant Meet on 1/24 for the boys team and earns 2nd place for the girls team. The teams combined for a 20 total medalist on the day!

Pine Tree Powerlifting off to a STRONG start! With 19 medalists, this was an amazing first meet of the year! The boys' team crushed it with a 1st place finish, scoring an incredible 60 points nearly doubling the next team's 33 and the girls' team took 2nd place by just 2 points. Way to go, Pirates!

A friendly reminder that Pine Tree ISD will have an early release day on Friday, December 20th. All district campuses and offices will be closed Monday, December 23rd – Friday, January 3, 2025. District offices will return to normal hours on Monday, January 6, 2025, and students will return to class on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

Primary, Birch Elementary and Parkway Elementary will be released at 12 p.m.
Middle School, Junior High and High School will be released at 1 p.m.

The UIL writing team has been working this semester to revive the PTHS student newspaper, The Cutlass. They are ready for the soft launch. The website is the cutlass.org and is phone-friendly.

Hosted by the Pine Tree High School Choir Boosters. Come enjoy pancakes with toppings, meet Santa, and hear live music from the Birch Beatles and the Jolly Roger Band! This Saturday, December 14th from 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM at the Pine Tree High School Cafeteria. $5 (Cash only).
The PTHS Cheer team delivered an impressive performance at the Game Day Rally held on Sunday, December 8, at East Texas Baptist University (ETBU). Along with receiving positive feedback for their routine, the team was honored with the prestigious Innovative Stunt Award. Their next show off is on January 4th at PTJH. Go Pirates!
