You're Invited to Texas Day! 📅 Thursday, April 17, 2025 ⏰ 8:00 AM – 10:30 AM 📍 Pine Tree Primary School Giddy up and get ready, because it’s time for Texas Day—a rootin’-tootin’ celebration of all things Texas! Our Future Pirates (children ages 4–5 who are not yet in school full time) are welcome to join the fun with activities like: 🐴 Pony ridin’ 🔥 Gold Pannin’ 🐄 Cow milkin’ 📚 Story tellin’ 🎶 Music and more Texas-sized fun! Please note: Future Pirates will join in everything EXCEPT the egg hunt. The egg hunt is reserved for current primary students only. 👨‍👩‍👧 Parent Info for Future Pirates This event is designed for kids who have already turned 4 or 5 years old, or will be 4 by September 1, 2025. This program is not intended for younger children (ages 2–3). Babies in strollers are welcome to tag along, if needed. 🚪Important Check-In Info for Guests Each child may have up to TWO adult guests. Y’all Are Invited to Texas Day! 📅 Thursday, April 17, 2025 ⏰ 8:00 AM – 11:45 AM 📍Pine Tree Primary School Howdy, families! Saddle up and join us for a rootin’-tootin’ good time at Texas Day! Students will enjoy hands-on activities like ridin’, brandin’, milkin’ a cow, story tellin’, and more. Plus, we’ll have a special Egg Hunt just for our primary students! 🥚 Egg Hunt Details Primary students ONLY will participate. Each student will collect 12 eggs during the hunt. We need your help! Please donate 12 plastic eggs filled with treats (non-melting candy, stickers, small toys, etc.) per student. Send them with your student by Tuesday, April 15. 🍎 Snack Donations Needed To keep our little cowboys and cowgirls fueled, we are asking for snack and water donations for each class. If you’d like to contribute, please sign up here: bit.ly/TexasDaySnacks25. Drop off snacks in the office by April 15. 🤠 Tour Guides Needed! We need volunteers, parents, and grandparents to help make Texas Day a success! As a Tour Guide, you will help lead students through different activity stations. No experience is needed—we provide easy-to-follow directions! Tour Guide Responsibilities: ✅ Arrive at 7:30 AM to help set up activities ✅ Assist with splitting students into groups ✅ Help with snacks and water ✅ Keep track of your group of students ✅ Reset activities for the next group ✅ Assist in setting up the Egg Hunt If you’re available to help as a tour guide from 7:30 AM to 11:45 AM, please sign up with your child’s teacher. Volunteers must complete the online volunteer application at: www.ptisd.org/o/ptisd/page/volunteer. 🏫 Important Visitor Information Each student may have up to TWO (2) adult guests attend Texas Day. All guests MUST be listed as a contact in Skyward. To update contacts, visit the front office. You must have a valid photo ID to be on campus.
