Congratulations to Pine Tree HS Congressional debaters who captured three out of six places at regionals November 9th. Students competed in two three-hour rounds, receiving scores from five judges. When judges’ scores were added, the following Pirates medaled: Aiden McQueary — Region Champion Travis Johnson — 2nd place, Top Presiding Officer Ryan Alonso — 5th place The students represented Pine Tree well, making Pine Tree the only 5A school to place all three competitors. Their debate coach, Coach A, will take McQueary and Johnson to compete in the state contest in Austin in January where Alonso will be a state alternate.

We want to share our students' success from our UIL tournament this past Saturday. We had several students and teams who took 1st place and dominated their events against the same competitors we will see in April at our district meet. They represented Pine Tree well, competing and hosting. Some of our events had more than 50 competitors. We are all so proud of them!

These spots are not coned or taped off. These spaces are first come, first serve. Do Not Park in the Red Painted Fire Lanes. Violators will be towed. Handicap Parking: Lovejoy has several permanent handicap parking spaces along with temporary Handicap parking that are designated with a blue cone. Shuttle/Overflow Parking: When Lovejoy High School General Parking lots become full, all patrons will drive to one of our three Off-Site Shuttle Locations Shuttle Service will begin at 6:00 pm The Shuttle Service runs throughout the entire football game until all patrons are returned to their vehicle. Lovejoy High School has limited Stadium Parking and we encourage our FOOTBALL patrons in using the Shuttle Service for all Varsity Home contests.
