During our Pirate 180 lesson this week there were some fantastic conversations in class about the difference between hearing and listening. We have some insightful students at PTJH.

Join us at Pine Tree Expedition 2023, a community event that will showcase Pine Tree. Attention Pirates
Due to weather concerns we will have a late start tomorrow. Junior High will begin classes at 11:00am. Release time will remain the same at 4:00pm. If your student rides a bus they will run 2 1/2 hours behind.
We will keep you updated on any changes.

Last week, we celebrated #thegreatkindnesschallenge at PTJH. Our P180 lesson was all about promoting kindness in our community and completing a community service project! Our students decorated coffee sleeves with positive affirmations and words of kindness. @coffee_mill_tx graciously partnered with us and agreed to distribute our sleeves with their beverages.
These four students completed the kindness checklist and were entered into a drawing to win a trip (& a coffee) to deliver our sleeves!
Thank you, @coffee_mill_tx for being a wonderful community partner AND for the tasty treats!
