Longview, TX – The wait is over! After 15 years, Pine Tree ISD proudly claims the title of 2025 District Champions. This team set their sights on the title from day one literally naming their group chat “2025 District Champs” back in August and they delivered.
With this year’s team motto, “Tradition Starts With Us,” these athletes brought pride, grit, and history back to the program. Their hard work paid off with a dominant performance at the district meet and multiple individual honors.
Top Individual Finishes:
Stephen Harris – 3rd Overall, First Team All-District
Jaxon Hicks – 4th Overall, First Team All-District
Hayes Daugbjerg – 6th Overall, Second Team All-District
Brooks Brown – 7th Overall, Second Team All-District
A special congratulations goes out to Riley Woodard, who not only earned a First Team All-District spot with her 5th place finish on the girls' side—but also punched her ticket to Regionals as an individual!
