I am Melina H. Moore and I am beginning my 8th year at Pine Tree Middle School. I have taught elementary, middle school, junior high, high school, and at the college level during my 33 years of teaching. I have a Teacher Diploma from Valsayn Teachers College, Trinidad and Tobago, a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of the Virgin Islands, and a Master of Science in Higher Education, College Teaching and Learning from Walden University. My favorite part of teaching is setting high expectations for all my students and helping students understand and develop their abilities.
I have been married for 25 years to my husband, Roger. We have two children Shania and Shane, who are both graduates of Pine Tree. I enjoy traveling, learning about different cultures, and spending time with my family.
I am looking forward to continuing my work as the Math Instructional Coach this upcoming school year to assist my 5th and 6th-grade teachers with providing quality instruction to all our students.
