Hello, I am Lori Portley! I am excited about the opportunity to be at Pine Tree High School and meet all my Pirates! I am from Kilgore and attended Stephen F. Austin for my Bachelor’s Degree. I am entering my 15th year teaching and have held positions with Gladewater ISD, Overton ISD, Kilgore ISD, Pine Tree Junior High, and Longview ISD. I have been a cheer coach and taught grades 5th, 7th, and 8th. This year I will be teaching Biology and coaching Cheer. I am a mom to two Pirates, Grayson (PTHS), and Addyson (PTJH). I am a lucky to be a bonus parent to Adrian and Dominque. I also have the pleasure of being Lollie to Raven. My husband is currently coaching Freshman Football, Head Girl’s Powerlifting Coach, and serving as secretary on the Texas High School Women's Powerlifting Board of Directors. I also have three fur babies that believe they are human. I am excited about the 2023-2024 school year! Go Pirates!
