Volunteer Program

The Pine Tree Independent School District encourages parents, guardians, and patrons of our district to become an active part of the schools in our community.  A volunteer's tasks are limitless, including opportunities such as tutoring, chaperoning school dances and field trips, becoming a literacy partner or helping in a campus office.  The list is endless and each volunteer contributes to making PTISD a great place to learn.  Each campus volunteer coordinator organizes and implements the program on their campus, helping each individual maximize her or his volunteer time.

Beginning July 7, 2017, all previously approved PTISD volunteers will be cleared from the current volunteer system and classified as unapproved.  The "NEW" Raptor Volunteer Application module will be live and accepting applications at that time.

For the safety of our students, Pine Tree ISD requires all potential volunteers who plan to work on any campus to receive a background check by the Department of Public Safety (DPS).  This check will be completed using the Raptor Volunteer Management System.

How to become a PTISD Volunteer:

1.  Complete and submit the "NEW" Raptor Volunteer Application:

Volunteers who do not have an email address may enter a cell phone number if their provider supports SMS messaging, or ask for assistance at the school office to complete the application.

2.  The background check should be complete in 5-7 business days.

3.  Once approved, an email will be sent to the volunteer containing their login credentials and account information for their profile.

Will volunteers be required to print their own badges online? No, a Raptor sticker will be printed when the volunteer checks-in to the school and must be worn at all times while on campus.

Do current PTISD employees need to complete a volunteer application?  No, all current PTISD employees will automatically be uploaded in the Raptor Volunteer Module as approved volunteers, New district employees will be uploaded monthly.
