Non-School Related Distribution of Material
General Information:
  • Participating organizations are required to show proof of non-profit status. 
  • Flyers distributed to students must clearly indicate that the activity is for students.  Advertisements with little or no educational value will not be approved.  Flyers should not contain advertising logos or promotions for any business or organization other than the approved organization submitting the flyer.  Pine Tree ISD reserves the right of final approval for the release of any flyer and may deny permission for any reason consistent with federal or state law, district policy, procedures and practices.
All organizations must submit the online Flyer Approval and Distribution Request Form and submit a copy of the flyer by e-mail to [email protected] or by bringing a copy to the Central Administration Building (Community Center) at 1701 Pine Tree Road, Longview, TX 75604

All flyers distributed by PTISD must include the following disclaimer printed at the bottom: “This organization and its activities are not related to or sponsored by Pine Tree ISD” 

No material will be approved for public or student access during the first full week of school, the week prior to winter holidays, the first     week of the spring semester, the week of State testing, or the last two weeks of school.   Duplication of flyers is the responsibility of the     organization requesting permission to distribute.

Flyer Distribution:

Once approved, the organization must bring the copied flyers to the PTISD Central Administration Building  (Community Center) for distribution. Please do not take approved flyers to any PTISD campus or building. 

Campus Principals at Junior High and High School (grades 7-12) will place all approved flyers in a central location for students and patrons who are interested. 

Campus Principals for grades PK-6th grade will send some approved flyers home with students. Other flyers will be approved for display on bulletin board and placed in office for those interested. The flyers must be bundled in groups of 22 by the requestor and numbers of flyer per campus.
